The Consultative International Cashew Council (CICC) was present at the launch of the second edition of the National Cashew Producers’ Days (JNPCA)

The Consultative International Cashew Council (CICC) participated on February 6-7, 2026, at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire in the launch of the second edition of the National Cashew Producers’ Days (JNPCA), alongside the Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Robert Beugré Mambé, and his Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Bruno Nabagné Koné.

Designed to celebrate and honor the achievements of producers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector, the JNPCA provides a showcase for promoting local expertise across the various segments of the value chains, through exhibitions open to the public.

Under the theme “Strengthening the Resilience and Competitiveness of the Cotton, Cashew, and Shea Sectors for More Professional Producers,” the 2026 JNPCA took the opportunity of the official opening of the events to announce the minimum price for cashew nuts for the season, set at 400 CFA francs per kilogram of raw nuts. This price is down by 25 FCFA compared to 2025, reflecting trends in the international cashew market.

For the 2025 season, Côte d’Ivoire’s statistics indicate a production of over 1.5 million tons of raw cashew nuts, with a processing rate of 43%, thus maintaining the country’s position as the world’s leading producer and third-largest processor.

The CICC congratulates stakeholders and wishes them an excellent season focused on generating greater added value for the country’s economy.
